How should I modify my car?
I have a 1999 Buick Century Custom with a 3.1 liter V6 and I would like to modify it to add some speed and noise to my car. What aftermarket parts should I buy and install to improve my cars performance I have around a $6000 budget. it has around 40,000 miles i know shes a buick but i'd really love to see someone crap their pants when a grandpa style buick leaves them in the dust =)

- take your 6k, go to craigslist, find a streetable race car, done. as cool you think it would be to smoke people in a buick, please understand that street racing is a bad thing, and many morons who think its cool to go out and race their grandpa's buick end up looking like tools and put not only their lives, but other innocent peoples lives in peril because some moron in his grandpa's buick wanted to race in the first place. Good luck!
- I wouldn't bother...... Give it a real cool pain job, have a few mods done like strip the badges off, maybe remove the door handles and open it with poppers, some wheels.... That's about it..... Something like this...... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3210178 or..... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3803765 http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Pictures-t27356-1998-Century-Custom.html
- Leave that one stock It should last you a long time. Then save up a little more money and buy one of these Grandpa cars...1987 turbo buick regal. Notice the front tag. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb72/slz1973/buickfrtps2.jpg I've seen these run mid to upper 11s in the 1/4. What some of the late model Vette runs Now. Back in the day mine ran 10.70s. With some good parts of course.
- Don't waste your money. Too heavy (around 3400 pounds give or take). It's a working car don't f-it up.
