Can i get penalized for breaking a car title loan contract?

i recently got a car title loan with ACE Cash Express, and then filed for a lost title with the state , so i got a new copy of title, sold the car , and now someone else has the car already possibly in their name already... i live in texas.

1. That's fraud and you absolutely can be penalized, up to and including jail time. You better hope they don't find out.
