what do title loan companies do when they cant find your car?

The tow truck company told me they were gonna press charges of theft against me but that was about 7 months ago too bad im 20 and have no other property Ha Ha. You guys must be idiots....Just spoke with police. He told me they dont have the authority to press charges. It's their job to find the property. So suck nuts....biotch Yeah and I just re registered my car and paid the taxes...take that. and im am cute and as far as credit already destroyed. Thats why ppl usually go to get a title loan when they have bad credit idiot

  1. Hopefully they will grab your home or any other property.
  2. If you are in a title state (which is most common), they can. However other states have other requirements to prove ownership. If you still have the car, unload it. whether it is to them or someone else. If you didn't pay the loan back it is now stolen property and carries the sentence of GTA. By applying for the loan, then not paying it back, and not giving them the car you have proven for the state actus reus and mens rea. It is a world of trouble you don't want.
  3. yes thye can do that if your caught driving the car will be listed on the "hot sheet"
  4. Your a 20 year old adult that entered into a legal binding contract. That car is consider stolen property now. I'm sure they have avenues like freezing accounts , or taxes or filing charges. TC
  5. Don't get too cocky about not giving them the car back It will go into the LEIN system as being stolen, that means you will NEVER get plates on it again in any state You will go to jail for auto theft At 18 you are an adult, so don't think being 20 will save you from an ADULT PRISON Your credit will be destroyed by the loan company which could prevent you from getting a job. So go ahead and think you are cute by not surrendering the vehicle, but if you get caught driving it, you will get arrested, and once the plate expires, you will not get it renewed, so you can't drive it What are you going to gain by keeping a car you will go to jail over and still can't drive it
