Why car insurance quote is so high?

I got quoted by allstate for 1180/6 months for full coverage on a 2010 Toyota Corolla. I am 22 years old and have a pretty clean record, what the heck is going on? Where can I get cheap insurance?

1. You need to shop around. They all calculate their rates differently so the best company for me might not necessarily be the best one for you.
2. Just get a quote from insurers you get from yellow pages,. the internet, the TV, the radio. Simply don't go for the first price they quote you but spend a few days collecting data.
