- If you have an accident/make a claim and they find out about your offence. They will NOT pay out. 40 Dollars is £20.00. It's worth it. (£20 is not a lot of money - 2 hours work - average)
- somethings you can get away with, others you cant. see the thing is that you can tell them every lie in the book about your record, however they take your license number and they do check your driving record for the past 3 years, you can say you have perfect record and pay 40 for the insurance but when your driving record arrives into thier system they will bill you a higher amount for your next month or if you paid it in full they will still send you a bill in mail for the difference. the things you can get away with is to tell them you are not the primary driver, have your mother be the primery driver and you insurance will cost much less even if your mom doesn't drive the car. also another option is to tell them you are married, even if you are not. give them some woman name and have them set her as excluded driver on the car, that saves you money too. good luck and tell them your exact driving record to get the best accurate quote. to answer the second part of your question, i would suggest going to the county court house and request your full driving record printed for you, take that print out and go to insurance agencies all over the places, some have 5 different compaines combined one office for ease of shopping. show them your record and they will quote you according to your driving record and the type of veichle you are driving.
- sure you can not tell the truth when getting an insurnace. wait till you actually meet with an accident, and have to claim the insurance money. then you will know how much does a 40$ lie cost you, your entire insurance money.
- listen to what everyone is telling you. it is NOT worth it. that way you will lost insurance at the time you will need it the most.
- yes surely you canNOT tell the truth when getting an insurance, but don't expect insurance company to pay when they have to pay. and all your insurance premium goes down the drain.
