The adobe reader won't let me sign the progressive insurance documents?

I downloaded the Progressive car insurance documents onto my adobe flash reader, and I'm supposed to sign it at the bottom, but it won't let me put any text into the document. (It's a .pdf document.)

1. The PDF reader is just that, a reader. Print the document, sign it and send it back via the mail.
2. You may be using an older version of the reader, newer versions (since 7.x) will allow fields to be filled in...but, not saved. As for signing, you will need to print it to do this.
