does car insurance companies have to pay a claim if you pay the premiums?

weve been paying premiums on a previously salvage car, recently son had a car/deer accident, now insurance wont pay the claim because of the salvaged title.. car was in perfect condition prior to hitting deer. we've paid for full coverage since we bought the car 2 years ago.. this does not seem right???? VIN was given to insurance company when we bought the car?

  1. this is why I tell people never to buy a salvage vehicle, the insurance company is greedy, and unfortunatly they happily took your money everymonth knowing from the beginning it was a totaled vehicle, your poop sucking money stealing insurance company can and will do things like this, many people think a salvage car is a great deal, sadly as you found out, this is untrue. There is little you can do, as to your question, no it is not right, but it is a risk you took when you bought the car, In the future, do not buy a salvage car, you have little choice at this moment, but honestly, your insurance company just showed their true colors, I would put the name in your next question so EVERYBODY WHO READS THIS KNOWS WHAT THE NAME OF THE GREEDY THIEF IS. AND DUMP THEM. their are some local news stations that may have a investigative reporter, who looks into these kinds of rip offs, my suggestion is tell everybody you know what company pulled this crap, and try to get some interest generated by a nosy reporter, maybe some publicity will help. (just a thought) this question or one like it appears all to often on yahoo answers. You can sue them, but it will cost you far more than the car was worth, try some negative publicity somehow.
  2. WHY,THE INSURANCE IS THE DEAL OF PRESIDENT NIXON,WHIT THE CORPORATIONS OF DRUGS,HEALTH AND PUBLIC LAW AGENCIES.,EVERYBODY HAVE TO PAID FOR INSURANCE,IS THE LAW. BUT BE AFRAID IF SOMEONE MESS WHIT YOUR CAR,YOU HAVE TO DEAL WHIT LAW PEOPLE IF YOU WANT TO REPAIR YOUR CAR,THE INSURANCE IS SOME KIND OF TAX DEAL WHIT THE INSURANCE CORPORATIONS.
  3. Right or wrong. When you first went to buy insurance for the car it was your responsibility to inform the insurance company that your car had a salvage title. Also right or wrong, They don't check such things. If you had told them, they would not have sold you comprehensive or collision insurance (only liability). Since you didn't tell them, you have no recourse. I suppose you could ask that your Comp and collision premium be returned? good luck with that! The bright side is that you DID have liability insurance,
