  1. for any two door sports car, your insurance will double. thats only the car. There is not one esitmate out there for all insurance, it just depends on what plan you have and what YOUR insurance looks for. I drive a lancer, and its considered a family car in my insurance, where as its a sports car in another. Check with your insurance for specifics.
  2. For your purposes, it'll all depend on whether you want liability or full coverage (liability is MUCH cheaper, but if you're in an accident, you fix your car out of YOUR pocket). It also depends on what your deductibles are (higher the deductible, the lower your payment). I've been tweaking my 99 a little bit at a time, trying to get her to show level, so I've got it f-u-l-l-y insured and only drive it during the warm months in Missouri (May thru Oct) don't want ANY ice/snow/salt getting anywhere near my car!!. I also, keep it covered during the winter as i have no place to store it inside. ANYWAY, with my policy that I have thru Progressive I pay $337 every 6 months.
  3. From a dollar a month to $1,000 a month. Depends entirely upon how you drive, how old you are, where you live, what insurance company you have, if you're paying the insurance, under your parents', or if they're paying your insurance. There is no solid estimate. I would suggest checking some of the more well-known car insurance companies out there to see what they quote you. I personally have Progressive with liability coverage, no glass, no collision. My insurance per month is about $70. However, I am 24 years old, have one speeding ticket (90/55), one accident in which I was not at fault, and drive a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Compare that price to my old vehicle; 1990 Geo Metro 3 cylinder I was quoted approximately $150 a month. It all depends on the vehicle, how old you are, your driving record, and what company you go with.
