expected discount off new car in South Australia?

I want to buy a new car for cash, the dealer has the model & colour in stock that has been used as a demo model it has 200 km mileage, what $ discount can I expect off the driveaway price of $34,590 paid in cash? Honest, intelligent answers from South Aussies greatly appreciated!! Thank you.

1. you could push for 5-10% of the original purchase price, but if you want to really go hard, the vehicle is second hand, 10-25% of new prices. I live in S.A as well and always push as far as I can. If you have the cash you have bargaining power, if they won't drop to where you reasonably want, try another dealer. Oh cars are cheaper between Elizabeth and Gawler, but you can get some good deals a little further north as well have a look in the lower Flinders ranges region. good luck
