- It doesn't hurt to try, you can always negotiate no matter how high the discount is.
- Of course. I know somebody who was looking for a car and they made an excel sheet on other cars that they could go to and buy. The dealer will instantly give you a new price.
- Who says your employee discount is the lowest? Good chance it isnt. Have you tried Carsdirect.com? It was where my bro found the lowest price by like $2000 on his Honda Pilot. And its free. In this lousy economy anything and everything is negotiable. The dealer would rather make $100 profit on a sale then lose $20,000 + finance charges when it sits on the lot collecting dust. I mean whats the worst they can do? No? Then go to the 2000 dealers that would gladly sell at your price.
- Both Edmunds.com and kellybluebook.com will tell you what the True Market Value is, what people in your area are paying for that car. And the CA DMV will calculate the tax and registration costs if you have the VIN # at https://mv.dmv.ca.gov/FeeCalculatorWeb/usedVehicleForm.do
