whats a fairly reliable cheap car i can buy?

i'm looking for a cheap (like under 1500 dollars) car. are their any fairly new cars that i could get used for around that much?

reliable? under 1500 dollars? well i don't know what to say but you cant find a reliable car which worth $1500... unless it's a BODY of a reliable car
Maybe an old Honda or Toyota. Maybe even the small pickup kind.
definately a 96 chevy cavalier or a old chevy truck trust me there better than people think i drive one.
sometimes people are just looking to get rid of their car and sell their good used car for a cheap price. i got a 99 camry for $1100 of Craigslist a few weeks ago and then earlier this year I got a 02 Expedition for $1200 because the guy was leaving town. Just shop around and you can find something within your budget.
thats hard.... Go with a Toyota or Honda, can't go wrong, camry, corolla, civic the older Volvos pre 1997 are BEASTY, theyre as tough as tanks, super reliable and have a luxury kinda interior go with an 850, try craigslist, you can find lots of cars in your price range there
Yea there are cars out there that run great and go for low money. Usually you can find them at either government auctions or police auctions. Sometimes government agencies (not necessarily the FBI or law enforcement) use cars for a limited amount of time for a specific job and then have to sell them to anyone for any price. Police auctions are full of practically new seized merchandise. I would check out a site like GovernmentAuctions.org - you could probably find a deal there for something close to new and for that price. Happy Hunting!
