would you buy a car if you read a review that the bluetooth is "AWESOME", but the engine dies every few miles?

I just read a car review, they talked about how the car's reliability is in the toilet, but the bluetooth is AWESOME and the stereo kicks ass too. Would you buy a new car that doesn't work, because it's bluetooth is "AWESOME" ?

  1. Was it a Kia by any chance? But seriously, I wouldn't buy any car based on the stereo system or bluetooth. Aftermarket stereos will always be better than any standard car stereo, and as a P-plater in Australia I cannot use the phone while I drive at all, whether it is through a hands-free kit or whatever. So whatever car that was, steer well clear of it.
  2. I suspect that most people would put a somewhat greater priority on how the vehicle runs rather that how kickass the stereo is.
  3. I think that would depend on whether you want to drive the car or sit in the driveway and listen to the radio and make phone calls.
  4. If you watch vehicle advertisements on TV, they focus on all the available gadgets, not the basic car itself. I want a car that will hold up and get me to and from my destination without problems. I don't care if it has AM/FM CD DVD MOFO whatever.
  5. Considering I don't own anything with a blue tooth and I actually like to know that I'm going to make it to my next destination I would have to go with a big fat negative here.
  6. no way. You could install a stereo into a good running car
