Overhaulin'

Reading car reviews & am not sure what the phrases "won't turn on a dime" or "poor turning circle" mean?

Also, "poor turning radius"? I'm a new driver in this country & already have trouble doing turns correctly. Are those problems easily overcome?

  1. These phrases simply mean that the car won't turn sharply. It's not really an issue during everyday driving, but it could become annoying if you live in a city with lots of tight turns, when parking in a lot, or when trying to parallel park, as it's handy to have a car that turns sharply in those situations.
