Which are the best car magazines to read when shopping for new cars?

Specifically, I'm windows shopping for the entry-level luxury cars like the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, Lexus ES etc. Would like reviews, purchase/lease advice etc.

  1. Motor Trend and Car and Driver are the standard consumer automotive periodicals, bo printed magazine will provide you with the depth, breadth, variety or currency of information available through auto-related web sites, including the corresponding web sites of automotive-related printed magazines. As for general information about the practice of buying or leasing, most broader web sites like edmunds.com offer comprehensive turtorial and "how to" information. Best of luck. I hope this helps.
  2. You should always read the Consumer Reports annual car guide, no matter what kind of car you want to get. Reviews, test results and stats about each car. Gives you an idea of how the car will perform over time. Good stuff.
