Is it legal for a big business to pay it's workers to write fake customer reviews for their products?

Like lets say for example Dell pays some of it's workers to write positive reviews on their new computers, or Chevy pays it's workers to write positive reviews for it's new cars?

1. I don't think it's illegal.
2. It's legal, but unethical. We just went over it in class, haha.
3. I don't know if its legal or not. But its not ethical. If you are thinking of it, i suggest otherwise. Your customers will lose faith in your product.
4. Its not legal but I am sure there is some loophole this companies take to do this.And trust me alot of companies do it.
5. I don't know if its legal or not. I also don't know if its ethical or not, when a lot of companies do it and you have to do it to live on.
