- Obviously see it in person. It's dangerous buying expensive things online .
- If you buy high value second hand goods on line you are taking a big risk and could end up wasting a load of money. Cars should be seen and test driven before buying to check for faults or any other problems. Why anyone would buy after only reading a description and looking at a photograph is beyond me.
- my self would never buy one online since you can follow the steps of buying a car online cant check it for signs of problem cant test drive it. type into search box how to check a used car how to buy a car
- Anyone would rather inspect a car in person before buying. There are some cases when I would buy a car on line. If I was looking for a classic car I would shop on line. On line can be the best way to find a specially equipped work truck. In either case it expands the search area far beyond what I can do locally. Dealer web sites are another place I would look. There is one thing I would insist on before buying a car sight unseen - a clause in the contract allowing me to back out if the car doesn't meet the description. I would not object to a nonrefundable deposit.
- There are lots of things to think about when buying a car. Check out this checklist to make sure you are buying the right car for you! http://www.ehow.com/how_5483123_shop-used-car-good-financing.html
- Its not really seeing the car that matters - its knowing whether or not you are getting a car in good condition and that requires either a reputable seller or you having a mechanic check it out yourself. Ebay motors is a good place to shop for cars online. You can look at a seller's ratings history and see if their customers are satisfied. Also, if i you have a specific model in mind and you don't see it now, you can set up a saved search and ebay will email you when anything matching your keywords comes up in a listing. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=1&pub=5574690244&toolid=10001&campid=5336433849&customid=&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg If you don't already have an ebay account, you should get one - I find the best deals on just about everything there.. Just make sure you buy from a seller with a 99% or better rating and over 100 sales. I have never had any problem as long as I have followed those guidelines. Good luck!
