is it safe to buy a car online?

I am considering buying a car from www.empiremotorcars.net. they told me they would take care of the paperwork & the red tape that accompanies importing a US car into canada. do you think it is safe? what is to stop them from receiving my money & not sending a car? there has to be some sort of protection somewhere.

2. You might want to be wary, because there could be something wrong with it. You might want to go to where the car is, if you are gonna buy it and get it checked out by a professional.

4. What's to stop them from not shipping the car and stealing your money? None whatsoever! There is no Internet insurance that protects you from being scammed online. It's always buyer beware!
