Overhaulin'

Overdraft help from a Regions Rep.?

Okay so I recently went over (completely by accident...I know you hear that all the time), but the thing was I had given school some money late December and got paid December 31st so early Jan. I looked at my account again and saw that I had a decent amount in there so gave the school some more (have to pay off to start next sem. classes). I didn't realize that the last time I paid them hadn't gone through yet so I thought I was "comfortable" in money. Then I got my oil changed ($60)and my new used car was found out to have no antifreeze and only water and my radiator was frozen so I ended up having to replace an water pump plus buy antifreeze (another $100) so last week when I got my monthly statement I was freakin out and worried I might have over drafted, and since I'm currently out of a car I wasn't able to check it again until last night before my check (direct deposit) went in and I'm about $350 in the red. What can I do to get ANY (if not all) overdraft fees waived? I've only got like $200 to last me two weeks with car insurance and textbooks coming out of this check too! Any help is a great relief!!

  1. You need to call your local branch or go talk to someone in person at the bank and see if they will help you out. Most banks will only waive fees once as a courtesy so if you have had fees waived in the past you are more than likely not going to get help with this one.
