What cars have cheap car insurance?
I have just passed my test and am looking to buy a car within the next two weeks. I would just like to know if anyone knows of cars that have cheap insurance but are not small as i am over six foot 5 and i have problems with cars like KA, micra, clio, fiesta and smart cars. Thanks in advance

- Honestly, old cars have the cheapest insurance. You cannot put collision on a 10 year old car. To put full coverage on an old car is ridiculous. That is why you only put liability on an older vehicle. This allows you to drive your car with coverage and be street legal. With this type of coverage it only protects the other guys car. You would be out of pocket for the damages to your car.
- Unfortunately, the cars you have mentioned are the ones with the cheapest insurance. If you need to step up a size, to a Focus for example, then I'd recommend a diesel. They tend to be a lower insurance group, and even the 1.6 TDCi is fast enough. They are a little dearer to buy but of course, you'll save money as they do more MPG.
- if your 17-19yrs old their is not such a thing called cheap car insurance even a £700 fiat sciento will cost you over £2500 for insurance and thats a group 1 and thats 3rd party fire and theft NOT fully comp thumbs down for telling the truth,, i even looked up compare the market website and got a quote for a typical 17yr old for £700 fiat and the BEST quote i got was £2498.17p
- Citroen C3, Skoda Fabia, both have variants that are in group one for insurance, Citroen Nemo Multispace, Hyundai i30, and Skoda Roomster have a variant in group 2.
- no cheap insurance for novice drivers especially if you are under 25
- I recommend you this site where you can compare quotes so you can find the best option for you biinsurance.notlong.com
- Anything older with have lower insurance. I would stick to any asian imports like acura, honda, infiniti, nissan, toyota or lexus. These will cause you less of a headache in the long run. I would definetely check the Vehicle History first before deciding if your going to buy it or not. I always use CHEAPVINSEARCH.COM for Vehicle History Reports, they are really cheap, fast and very accurate information!
