Normally do people email you if they sell their car before your appointment to see it?

My dad and I made an appointment to go look at a car this Wednesday, but I was wondering if the person selling the car happened to sell it to someone else before then if he would email my dad and let him know. I know no one can know for sure as they don't know the person, but is that normally what a person would do? Or is it more common for them to wait until we call and then tell us? Thanks in advance guys

  1. generally cars are sold on a first come first served basis. when someone puts an ad in the paper, on the internet, or where ever, they tend to get a lot of people wanting to look at the car. with some cars they get so much interest that if they were to email or call everyone that showed an interest in the car that they sold said car, they would be spending a ton of time on the phone and computer. so no no one i know of sends anyone anything about if they have sold the car or not.
  2. Vehicles offered for sale in any medium are subject to prior sale. If you want to know if it's still available, call and ask before you travel to see it.
