Where can I sell my aftermarket car stereo?
I have a Jensen VM9312 CD/DVD player stereo. I just bought a new car and had this one taken out of my old one. The new one obviously isnt a fit for my new car so Im trying to sell it. I took it to some pawn shops but pawn shops think that they are freakin best buy and any other high end store now and have all these rules about how they can only take certain stuff. (we already have too many in stock, it has to be "installed" in your car for us to look at it and see how much its worth, which is EXTREMELY stupid. If it is already installed in my car obviously Im not going to sell it, let alone rip it out after you look at it.) It just a bunch of BS with pawn shops now. Your job is to take other peoples junk, not other peoples brand new junk. Anyway does anybody know of any places I can go to try and sell it. Besides EBAY or Amazon. Any help would be great, thanks?

- well most radios/stereos are multi fit knobs adjust to fit many cars been that way for 30 yrs i know of just loose nuts behind knobs adjust to another hole or slide it over ive not had many that didnt adjust to fit other than size of opening an dmany times can find a face plate to fix that as well but if you just want to sell it pretty much any where wil do wont get much for it its used 50 bucks maybe craigslist newspaper
- Craigslist or your local paper. Honestly, unless the stereo was like $50 or so, most people are not going to want it unless they can see it working. Find a way to hook it up to a 12V power source so it can at least be turned on. There are a million used stereos out there. Try to sell it to one of your buddies who has seen it working. The average person is not going to take a chance on it. Its too complex a unit for someone to drop $200 on it without seeing it in operation.
- I know you said other places, but eBay would be the best choice. I sold a 10 y/o Sony MD player for $65. Never did I think I was going to get that much for it. I thought it was a p.o.s. I guess other people thought differently.
