Would you go to a website if given a business card on your car window?

I sell diaper bags and want to target customers at the Babies R Us parking lot. Do you think putting business cards on their windshield is a good idea? I'm looking for cheap advertising methods.

2. A flyer on a windshield is probably better than a business card but I would visit your site if the flyer quickly informed me of any advantages you could provide me. Good Luck
3. Nope I wouldn't I hate those things and throw them off without even looking at them. Trying using blogs like David said.

Well if they were super cute and super cheap,I might inquire, but normally if its not a store,I do not want to go to someones home or invite someone over I have no idea who they are, its easier to go into Walmart or other baby store and buy without meeting someone I dont want to meet to be honest. Why not try to sell them to childrens consignment stores!! Go to the swap meet and find someone who looks trustable and share their spot or something. Its surely a selling item, but its not a constant item. Use craigslist too in your area. Make a deal with some child care places, they might let you chain one to the wall and sell on consignment and you give them a few dollars for letting you put them there. Its such a niche business, maybe make/sell purses too, to offer to a broader audience. Privatly owned clothing stores, maternity shops might shelf some of the bags also for you. Noone has ever advertised Diaper bags, theres just not enough customers to cover the cost involved or the time you will spend putting out stuff, and the stores can get upset from everyong throwing them on the ground, you could get cited for having a business and advertising and you do not have a business permit and paying taxes on it too.

6. A better marketing gimmick perhaps would be to create a diaper bag and associating accessories party for new mothers. Invite them to a safe place, show them a good time and good products--and they'll pass the word on rather than an exhausted advertising method.
