Do big car shows like to see a customized modern car or an original classic car?

Just wondering... if is worth it fixing a car to be original or "pimp"... Thanks...

  1. Generally, factory stock classic cars are worth much more than modified. But if it's your car, you can do what you want with it.
  2. I like both as long as it's cool like a new Shelby Mustang sitting near a '69 Shelby or something. Every styling taste has a name like 'Pimp' or 'Low Rider' or 'Rat Rod' or 'Muscle Car'. I personally don't like pimp.
  3. If you mean old car shows, an original classic car is the preference. If you mean a major auto show such as New York or LA, a customized modern car would certainly draw a lot of attention.
  4. I attend car shows each year and one it depends on the type of car show, but overall enthusiast enjoy seeing the cars may they be stock or modified tastefully.
