Is Presidents Day Weekend a good time to buy used car?
I am looking to buy used car in Feb, after I get my tax return. Is Presidents Day Weekend a good time to buy?

- not really. Presidents' Day weekend is when a lot of people end up buying cars considering the "deals" most dealers offer, as well as the fact that everyone's getting their tax returns. because of this, there's a higher demand from customers and a lot of dealers find it much easier to jack of up down payments and other factors. the best time to buy a car is on a random Friday evening that's not during a holiday season/weekend(like right now). if you walk in right before they close and start asking questions, and just generally take up a decent bit of the salesman's time, a lot of them will end up cutting you a decent deal just to get the hell out of there sooner.
- From the dealer & salesman's perspective, ANY day is a good time to buy a used car. Ive never known ANY dealer to give better deals during any supposed "sales". Occasionally, near the end of the month or year, you might get a car for a few hundred less than you otherwise would. But forget huge discounts ANYtime. There are no real "sales" in the used car business. Just paid advertising spent to get people to their lot so they can sell them cars AT A PROFIT.
- Any day is a good day to buy thanks to this website: http://autos.aol.com/best-deal/landing/
