Should I sell my honda, with or without the "Extra Warranty" I have ?
I have money problems . I need to save up money ,so I decided to make some changes , to sell my expensive honda car, and but a cheap $2000-2500 car. Then use that amount to get rid of my credit card debt. I was thinking of posting the ad online for my 2007 honda civic ex coupe. But I have a extended warranty on the car , which is for 5yrs/60,000. I called them today and they said I can get 1,202 dollars back if i cancel it . It will go towards the principal . I am confused. Should I try to sell the car for more price by saying " Free Warranty !!" or Should I cancel it and try to sell the car for a much lower price . I am not sure which one will attract buyers more . What do you think ? do I cancel it or not?

- Cancel it and get your money back. Most people buying a used car from a private party assume there is no warranty included anyway. I doubt it will help sell the car.
- for starters,"jdlr46" doesn't understand that the 1,202 dollars going to your principal means that your remaining balance will be that much lower.selling a car with an extended warranty will attract buyers,so keep the warranty and sell at a fair blue book price
