Should I sell this car to someone or a junk yard?
I have a 1995 Chevy Lumina and I had 7 people look at it but everyone walked away without making an offer. The car needs state inspection and the most expensive thing is corroded rocker panels. Every potential buyer decided it would be expensive to fix these panels and decided not to buy. The car still runs great and I only asked $500 for it. Junk yards will give $225 in my area for it. Should I just sell this car to a junk yard or should I hope a potential buyer pays me more?

- i would hold out for a buyer unless i got in a tight or it became a burden.
- 1 what do they want for 500 dollars 2 you could get inspection,,make it ready to drive away 3 no one in right mind is gona repair it if your in a state with corrosion laws,ur screwed,,,,its a drive till it dies car 4 can't sell/ junk it.
- write across the windshield $500 someone will buy it
- Post it on E-bay and classified adds (local, internet, or both) as Motor and Transmission For Sale, Will throw in car, For Free. Seriously, The motor and Trans should bring what your asking for the whole car.
- why don't you part it out?
- if you know aq good welder you should by 2 rocker panels hava them welded and if its running good you should get nearly a 1000.00 bucks for it<,p.s. for a junk yard to give you 225 dollars its good.>
