u can sell your junk car for money?

i know junk yards, i saw an add in the newspapper a bit ago before i lost the papper, that u can sell ur car junker an all, in hopes of geting bad cars off the road or some thing like that... i was woundering where that was in columbus ohio area.. if some one knew... any info would help, as well as corecting any ignorance in my request. despite popular belif some times =( i do like asking the right questions so as to get the right answer is there a web site to go to for cash for clunkers

1. What you are referring to is probably the "Cash for Clunkers" program. You do not get cash in your pocket for your old car - you get $3,500 or $4,500 to put towards a new car. Almost all new car dealers (used cars are not eligible for purchase in this program) are qualified to particpate in the program
