Does anyone have a car for sale that's cheap?
I got into a fender binder and now the hood of my car is like an accordion - my car still runs but can't get the hood open to check water & oil, etc. (it's an 85 Toyota Celica GT) Does anyone know anyone or have a car that's mechanically good (looks aren't important) and runs. I'm all by myself (husband passed away) & I work so much - don't have a lot of friends so I'm just desperate to have someone help me with getting my hood open or selling me a good running car and like I said - LOOKS AREN'T IMPORTANT - mechanically sound is what I'm looking for. Please get back with me if you can with any kind of help. GOD BLESS YOU Vicki

- You don't say how cheap is cheap. If the Celica was running good before the accident, just have it fixed. The $1000 you would spend on some beater can go to repairs to the Celica. If the Celica was falling apart, then maybe just scrap it. Check Craigslist or your local paper. A small car lot can sell you a decent car with payments.
- Uncle Bob's answer was correct until he got to the part about craigslist. Craigslist has the worse record for scams of any site on the net. Look in your local news papers. Maybe you will be lucky and find one by the side of te road. Cheap cars aren't cheap any more. For $1000 you may find one that runs.
