registering car in another state without car title?
This is a stupid question but will ask it anyway; I currently live in PA and was wondering if I move out of state (for example, FL), am I able to get my car registered in FL, even though my car still has an Auto Loan and so I don't have the actual title yet? Does Loan companies restrict owners of this? Thanks

- You can get it registered out of state unless there's some sort of restriction in the contract. If you pay your bills on time they probably won't put up too much of a fight call them up and ask them.
- Even though you don't have the actual title yet, you do (I hope) have a valid registration card which would show that you are the legal owner and that there is a lien on the vehicle.
- Not usually. If you are paying on your loan and change your address with them when you move, you should not have a problem registering your car in another state. But in some cases, mainly with buy here pay here situations, you may not be able to take the car and move out of state. Check your contract.
