how do I get my Dad to sell me his old car?

My Dad recently got a new car, and he later hit a pole with his old car. My Dad won't sell my his old car, because he just doesn't want me to have a car, i'll be turning 16 in 11 months. My Mom said that if i can get my Dad to think selling me the car is his idea and it will benefit him then he might sell me the car. So how do i trick my Dad into selling me the car?

1. Don't trick your dad, thats totally immature. don't blame the messenger, and i'm only 12 yrs old, and it already sounds stupid. Give him a reasonable amount, and say if he doesn't want to give you one that its his choice. confirm with him now that he will have to drive you to the mall, drive you to dates, drive you to the movies, to school, home from school, to your friends house, and to your job. If hes completely fine with that, then it a win win situation
2. Why do you even want it if he ran it into a tree?
