  1. wel most people wil want tittle so might wait dont trade it sell it wil get more

  3. About all you can do is make yourself comfortable and wait for the title. I know it can take up to a certain period of time, but it is never as long as they say. Patience is what you need right now because nothing is going to speed up the process and you can't do much with the car without the title.
  4. Most dealers WILL take it in on trade as long as they are convinced its yours and you have paperwork proving it. Most individuals wouldn't want to pay for it without a title.
  5. As others have commented, no dealer will take it without a clear physical title; and very few private buyers will pony-up their hard-earned without the same. If you have a "live one" that you don't want to get away, you can offer to take a small deposit of $100 or so (which makes him less likely to walk away) in exchange for a contract promising sale of the vehicle to him when you receive the title within X days. You can then offer him a "good faith" discount for waiting that he can deduct when paying the balance. If you have any other paperwork for the vehicle from your state, you can present that as evidence to the buyer that things are as you claim they are. Ultimately, it's going to be up to the buyer's willingness to wait. But, with some creativity, you may yet find a way to salvage the deal. I hope this helps. P.S. You also don't want this person driving the vehicle until the title is signed-over to him, as you may be liable for any damage (not to mention any tickets and other fines) the other party may incur while legally continues to be your car.
