how old do you have to be to have classic car insurance?

i am just wondering because i am looking for a project car for this summer but i don't want to put it on regular insurance. i am 18 yrs old if that helps at all.

1. Your age doesn't matter, its the age of the car that matters. Most states its 20 years old but vary. Check your local laws. You will also need to register your car as a classic.
