What is the best website to buy car parts off of?

I need a distributer for my 97 mazda. my mechanic said the only place i can get it is through the mazda company which cost about $500. But if i can get it cheaper online, then that would be great. Any one know any reliable websites?

1. do a web search u should b able to get a pattern part rather than an original just bare in mind u get what u pay for but i have never had any problems with pattern parts
2. If the part is only available through the dealer, then your options are minimal. You may need to call your local Mazda dealer or find it online. I cant really help, as I am not familiar with Mazda

For better advice be specific of the exact model of Mazda you own and exactly which spare part you're seeking. Searching for a part gets a whole lot easier if are armed with the manufactures part number and catalogue description for a particular item. Depending on the part do not rule out using 2nd hand items from official specialist car breakers, online auction sites and enthusiast forum small for sale sections.
