Can a car dealer buy car from auction for himself and don't pay tax on it?
Is there a way to get around for the car that the dealer would buy for himself to don't pay the tax, or pay less scene he is a dealer?

- He'll have to pay if he registers it. If he drives with a dealer plate then no.
- Once a vehicle is goes into a persons name their is no getting around sales tax...period. They can register into the company and the company can pay the tax but the state still gets its tax. The car dealer can purchase from an auction for his own use but he will still have to pay sales tax. There is really no good way to get around retail/wholesale tax.
