How to cure the need to modify a car to go faster?
Here is a good way to stop blowing $$ on superchargers, turbos, wheels, etc. Rent a Porsche or Ferrari for 1 day. Then get back to the real world, and into a regular car. Only then you will realize the futility of trying to modify an average car faster(you can't spin gold from yarn).

- what's wrong with wanting your own car to go faster?
- I disagree on that. You can get some cars faster than a porsche or ferrari. And for alot less money. Seen fast and the furious? The black car he races on the highway is a ferrari. A movie I know but it can and has been done.
- Or else just buy some nitrous oxide and hook it up to your car. That should help some. =D
- Maybe what you're after is a greater SENSE of speed. Rather than adding performance, add some noise, vibration, and harshness to your daily ride by switching to a convertible, or buy an older car since they tend to have less insulation and isolation from the road, then take the savings and spend it on renting the great cars when you need.
- suped up sports compact cars are WAY more reliable and affordable then a porshe or ferrari anyday! considering the repairs and maintainence required for a $300k car! there are too many suped up imports that can take out higher end cars..it's all about what you do to the car and how much money you have..GO buy a Mitsubishi Evo 8 ,spend a few $k on it and tell me you could'nt take out some ferraris with that beast!!! (plus it's only $35k) http://videos.streetfire.net/category/Mitsubishi/3/DBDE012F-2CE4-4A23-B987-64C1AB6E53F2.htm http://videos.streetfire.net/video/E5A61DBA-772C-4495-AE51-C7D99FD81256.htm
- It is very easy to cure that, just read the rest of these remarks. You will soon find that it is very expensive to upgrade your car. That is what stops me most of the time.
