Too much miles for the price?

I am a single mother and have no clue when it comes to cars. All i know is i need a new car. Its a Mazda 6 Touring 2010 with 21,000 miles on it. Worth the price? 1. You can get a brand new car for 15,000 bucks with no miles on it.
2. For 15 grand you can get the following new: Toyota Corolla, Mitsubishi Lancer, Nissan Cube, Scion xB and Kia Forte. Those are the only ones I've listed because those are the only ones with high top safety scores.
3. You should negotiate, if you've got 15,000 to spend, you're forgetting tax, title, license, extended warranty, if you really want to only spend 15,000, tell them out the door that's it, if they can't do that then you'll walk. Though I doubt you could talk them down enough on that, but its worth a shot. I put 41,000 miles on my Ford Fusion the first year, its basically the same as the Mazda 6. They're good reliable cars.
