- I never have but if you do be sure to read the fine print. I would guess with the 'blank check' there would be a huge interest rate
- Yes, and $40,000, But my income and my DTI were in line. Interest rate was a little higher than I liked, but I had had an auto judgement against me. As soon as it fell off my credit report I refinanced at a much lower rate with another bank. Capital One does not refinance their own loans.
- Ok you can apply pretty high I believe its like up to 40k....but I just got my blank check like yestarday....I used my unncle to cosign for a 12,000 and they approved me up to 15,000 I believe but read the fine print alot of their shit is hella wack... like various interest rates for whichever year car you get... You must buy from a franchised dealer, it cant be a individual, um also you have to factor in that you have to have comprehensive insurance on the car...the rate I got was 8.5% for an '06, 9.0 on a 2005 etc...etc... but before I even got the check I did review search and I'm scared to use it cuz they have a TON of negative reviews....I was prepared to go with an HSBC loan at 15% cuz of the amount of negative reviews they had!! and USAA hadnt contacted me! but HSBC declined me cuz they thought I lived with my Uncle (what type of crap is that!) so pretty much I have to go with Cap One...but if I were you I'd check out your credit unions and such around you first.
- I used work for Capital One car finance and have my current car loan through them. If you have good credit they are very liberal with the amount they will lend you. I would ask for $5000 more than what you plan to spend on a vehicle. The loan is only for the amount you write the check for. A website I've recommended in the past would be... http://www.safelinked.info/go.php?link=auto Take care.
