Where can an 18 year old male find cheap car insurance?

It's getting frustrating looking for insurance that a college student will be able to afford and buy food at the same time. Is there a car that's cheaper? Or a brokerage that's cheaper?

6. You have three problems, in the following order they are... 1. 18.No insurance company wants an 18 year old driver. 2. Male. No insurance company wants an 18 year old male. 3..Student. No insurance company is very keen on and 18 year old male who is a student, tho numbers 1 and 2 take precedent. 4. They don't care if you eat. The insurance will cost you more than half your student loan. 5. So you are going to have to figure out some other way of getting around. Please don't think I'm being unsympathetic - this is just the way it is at present Just remember, all these young drivers who can't get onto the road are not paying all the taxes associated with driving - maybe someone in government will cop onto that ?
