How to find next police seized car auction in my area.?

So Im trying to buy a car. A very cheap car. Under $2000. But no auto dealers really sell anything useful for that low. So I want to go to a police auction. I've been googling the hell out of it but can't find where an auction is close to me. I just find all these auction sites that want me to join and pay membership fees. So does anyone know how I can find one in my area. I live in Maryland. And how often are they held. And how cheap do you think I could get a car there? Thanks

1. I too have been trying to find an auto seize car auction too but here in San Diego. I am going to go to the PD this Monday so I can get more information. I suggest try them. Also Copart is another site you can try, really poor-decent cars you can find and some really good ones.
2. Despite what information sellers want you to believe, there just aren't very many seized car auctions and when there are, they don't tend to be fantastic deals. My county sells theres on ebay. Ive been watching for 3 years. probably 2 dozen cars. Not one would be considered a good deal. Some of them might start off with a low price but Ive never seen one sell for a anything near wholesale. (And i was a dealer for a dozen years so I would know)
