where can i get cheap car insurance for young drivers?

I need cheap car insurance for under 25? I tried major companies and comparison sites, so far been getting quotes over £3K and no way i can afford that amount. can anyone help me as I am student.

1. Your looking at a minimum £2500, average is £2700 so your not far off the cheapest already. Simple fact is nobody HAS to drive so if you can't afford it you don't drive.
2. try www.4youngdrivers.co.uk or quinn direct. Try adding you mum or dad as a second driver it will reduce your premium by upto 10%
3. Whatever you may think, £3,000 to insure a car these days, IS cheap for a student under 25.
4. No way as you have already found an being a student only makes it more expensive than if you had a full time job
5. £3k is about what new drivers under 25 have to pay these days. No way round it I'm afraid.
