Should I buy any Japanese Hybrid car even after the crisis in Japan recently?

As I have heard that Hybrid technology is coming from Japan and in case of further damage in Japan, parts will not be easily available or may not be available at all?

1. Sure. If you want a Japanese hybrid car then get one. You haven't listed your reasons for for not getting one because of the recent Japanese events. The only down fall I see in not getting one now is because the prices may be slightly higher because of supply issues but higher prices could also be because of the higher prices at the pump.
