How much is it to buy new license plates for recently bought car?

I'm wondering, if I buy a car from say Florida and has Florida license plates, but I bought the car in Texas from the owner and I want to get Texas license plates how much would it cost? (P.S. I'm from California and I want to buy the car from Oklahoma.)

1. You can't just get license plates from whatever state you want. You need to register and get plates for the vehicle where you live, which you said is California. The California DMV website should outline all of the fees you need to pay when you purchase a vehicle, including plates and registrartion.
2. simple answer call the DMV. they will gladly give you the info you need.
