buying vs leasing a car?
I'm looking at certified used Toyota Corola for around $15,000. If I'm planning to keep the car for 5 years, is it better to buy or to lease?

- buy.
- Your best deal is to buy used, but not titled yet. That means you benefit from the depreciation, and it includes the new car warranty. In other words your neighbor paid about $11,000.00 to lease that car for 3 years, and now you buy it at a fraction of the cost, AND you get the very 1st Title and that saves on insurance and registration.
- the rule is if keeping for 5 to 7 years but it i you want a new car every few years leasing is fine if you play by the rules of staying within miles allowed and keeping in good shape, otherwise buy i and run until it gets old and buy again.
