I am looking to find cheap Massachusetts Auto Insurance. Can anyone recommend a place?

I just moved to Massachusetts from Rhode Island and recently purchased a new car. I need cheap insurance for my car because I am young and don't make a lot of money. Has anyone reading had a good experience with a Massachusetts Auto Insurance Agency? I really would prefer to do this all online instead of on the phone. Websites are welcome! Thanks!

2. When I lived in Mass. years ago, the insurance rates were set by the state, so there wasn't a lot of insurance shopping to do. I don't know if it's the same now.
3. If you're young and don't make a lot of money, you can't afford to buy a new car. I used to work in MA, and there are a LOT of great agencies there - but there's no bargain out there for youthful operators and new cars. Depending on where you live, it's just going to cost a LOT of money, or a lot more money than that. Unless you're going to a direct writer's website like Progressive or Amica, the rest of them pretty much just harvest your personal information and sell it. They're not even designed to give you accurate quotes, so you're wasting your time. **Rates have loosened up a bit, so there is SOME deviation, not like the state set rates - but there's still no 'bargain' out there for young drivers with 'full coverage', even if you have great credit and a clean driving record.**
4. Sell the car, immediately. If you are "young" and "cheap insurance" is all you can afford, then you cannot have a car until you are older or make more money. There is no cheap Massachusetts auto insurance for anyone who is young. There is no cheap auto insurance for anyone who is young. Cheap auto insurance is not available until at least age 25. Until then, you have to "make a lot of money" if you want to own a car.
