Need to sell a car fast, go to Carmax?

Hi, I need to sell my car relatively fast, I was wondering if I should just go to Carmax to sell it or junk it? It's an 01 Eclipse with 120k miles on it. Cooling system was completely redone and the only thing wrong with it is a cracked dash. How much you think I'd get for it and should I sell to them? Thanks in advance.

1. selling a car fast yes go to car max. no less than 2 grand for your car. but if you had time to sell it max value is about 4 grand in descent shape. ps im a dealer those cars auction value are 1,500-3,000 with that mileage.
2. Dude personally i hate eclipses, but im still gonna try to help u out. If i were u i would list it on Autotrader.com, thts my favorite place to look for cars for sale. I would say about $3000 to $4000 if your lucky. And sometimes it depends where u live. If u live in Utah, Nevada, Wyoming or Idaho, u could list it on KSL.com, that site gets so many hits a day its not even funny LOL. but ya, i would go with Autotrader.com. 3. Sure, if you are good with the $1000 they will pay you. I'd rather put it on eBay with no reserve. You should get $2000 at least.
4. They will make you an offer. A low ball, below wholesale offer. And you wont get a dime extra for things like redone cooling systems or other modifications or repairs. Carmax has monthly wholesale auctions where they sell such cars to other dealers, usually at a profit. It costs money to run the auctions which means they have to pay a few hundred less than they think it will sell for at a dealer only auction. Late model, low mileage stuff they will retail. Nothing as old as yours.
