Can i replace my engine (manual car) with same engine from Automatic car?

I have a subaru legacy with a ej22 thats blown its gasket (had 300ks on it). its a manual car. i found another ej22 for sale from another legacy with 90ks on it but that car is Automatic. can i do a straight engine swap? will it fit into my car? do i have to get new parts or spend more ?? thanks by the way the engine costs $500, is it worth it?

2. Yes it will work, see the manual and automatic is just refering to the transmission. swap the engines, and they will fit right into place because they are the same engine.
3. You will have to change the flywheel and clutch assembly from your old motor to your new one, but other than that, it should fit fine
