is it false advertising if a car dealership ad is for a different car trim model then they have for sale?
is it false advertising if a car dealership ad is for a different model car then they have for sale For example if the the have a Hyundai sonata GLS on the website but it is in fact the GL trim? would it be worth reporting and in such a case to who Hyundai directly or better business bureau or who? I have seen this from more than one Hyundai dealership in Canada and i believe it may be done to mislead the buyer and get them in the door.

- Sure is. They only have to have of he advertised cars on sale and they are allowed honest mistakes. You would have to go to court and try to prove fraud.
- The fine print that states they are not responsible for mistakes protects them. It is probably you classic bait and switch, but you would have to prove it was intentional. If you report it, the reality is that they only thing that will change will be the website advertisement for that vehicle.
