Is it safe to buy cheaper car parts online?
I need a new track bar and a sway bar linkage. Sway bar link at NAPA is 40-60 dollars depending on which one I want, but online I can get one for $20. I can get a track bar for $200-300 easy or $52. Is the quality going to be worse? I'm shopping on ebay for the cheap parts (all new).

- NO! there always scams!!!!! Even if the other ones in real life are alot of money! There better for your car!
- It depends on if the people online are telling the truth or not. Like if they are really new or are not. I would pay a little extra for the parts at NAPA.
- Shopping for "cheap" often isnt advisable. I'd search for value: quality per dollar. Beware of counterfeit. A big prob in parts & pharmaceuticals.
- Depends on the seller, I guess. I've bought everything from spark plugs to fully rebuilt cylinder heads off Ebay in the past and never had problems. Ever. Just use your best judgment.
