Do car dealerships BUY cars from people?
Do regular car dealerships buy cars from people? For example: I want to sell my car. I'm not planning to buy a car from the dealership, so would they still buy my car? I have a 1995 Honda (it runs great, but the car has some damage to it-broken sun roof, completely needs paint job, etc). Any idea how much they would give me for it-if they would buy it? *Would a dealership like toyota or honda buy it, or another dealership?

- yes ... but they won't give you hardly anything, and if it needs too much work, they won't want it at all.
- no dealer will but your car to old for them they couldn't sell it sorry to say
- In that condition no. But you can sell it at autotrader.com
- A used car lot might, although most of those come from the auction, so it's doubtful you'll get very much. Most new car dealerships just send the trade-ins to the auction. They're not interested in fixing them up. Your best bet is craigslist!
- Just sell it on craigslist or put an ad in the paper. As F*&KED up as you say, it's about a 500.00 car to a dealership. How hard is it to sell a car? Just sell it and quit wasting time.
