What car insurance companies cover individuals with just a permit?

I need to get my license, I own my own car and have a permit, but I can't get a license without insurance, or insurance without a license, so I'm kind of stuck. I just moved to a new town and don't know anyone, so I can't just use someone else's car.. I know Progressive insures people with permits, but I was wondering if there were any other auto insurance companies that did the same, so I can compare prices. Any info helps, Thank you!

1. I don't have time to list all of the insurace companies that could insure you. So do your own work and take to an insurance agent for your insurance needs.
